VMware Workstation Player is the easiest way to run multiple operating systems at the same time on your PC. With its user-friendly interface, VMware Workstation Player makes it effortless for anyone to try out Windows 10, Chrome OS or the latest Linux releases, or create isolated virtual machines to safely test new software and surf the Web. VMware Workstation Player can also be used to run a virtual copy of an old PC so that you can recycle the old machines you have under your desk or stored in the closet.

Thanks to ARMOUR for the update.

It is fixed dll file with very minimal change. In short - very clean. But originally, all versions 14.0 player and workstation pro was not able to work on some computers. Developers told in community that they stopped the support for Intel Xeon CPUs and seems for AMDs too. The latest fully working version is 12.5.7, I collected all with latest VMware Tools 10.1.15, but the player 12.5.7 have no such crack. The first similar crack was made for Workstation Pro 12.5.6, it was made from Patch and virus integrated adware scheme of multi installation, I extracted the patch, later the cracker seems switched his powerful talent over the VMware Player 14.0

We had no luck. I am lucky with old versions which haven't fix, so I am unlucky because there is still no fix for me.

Sorry, I forgot to say this. I tried and failed as another user said this too, he get laggy process. After my launch the player stopped respond before loading the virtual machine. It only start slowly the progress bar two times to loading files and I had to reboot the computer without any success.

Here is my good solution. Press delete button and feel free to be happy.

Here is a place for failures only. Specialists are actually developers and they never lose their time for the good. They work as robots and set programmatically to do their job without any exploration. They have lost enough time all their live to study in education, but practice and bugs will lost the new features which they have by plan. That is why you will get malfunction permanently.

Good for you. My quad core still work like a charm and will update the computer after major accident which is hard to happen on my strong PC.

Believe me, version 12 will work on all Windows 10, developers already gave themselves to improve to the latest working version 12, it support Windows 10 Creators Update which seems is enough for the losers like me and you.

My processor i5 750 works great for me, and for VMware i only use it to make portables and test and if v12 will work then i wont change anything, that will be great

that is not exactly true. Only SOME older CPUs are not supported. Some Atom CPUs and some of AMDs lower-end like zacate, ontario, llano and other low-power mobile CPUs.

Systems using Processors (CPUs) launched in 2011 or later are supported except:

  • Intel Atom processors based on the 2011 “Bonnell”  micro-architecture (e.g. Atom Z670/Z650; Atom N570)
  • Systems using Intel Atom processors based on the 2012 “Saltwell” micro-architecture (e.g. Atom S1200, Atom D2700/D2500, Atom N2800/N2600.
  • Systems using AMD processors based on the “Llano” and “Bobcat” micro-architectures (e.g. code-named “Hondo”, “Ontario”, “Zacate”, “Llano”)

In addition the following are supported:

Systems using Intel processors based on the 2010 “Westmere” micro-architecture (e.g. Xeon 5600, Xeon 3600, Core i7-970, Core i7-980, Core i7-990)

the serials are not for Player, they are for Workstation Pro v14

+ you made a copy&paste mistake for serial ZC3WK-AFXEK-.....

For now the only solution is the cracked dll by FreeUserBR + any serial you want

There's something wrong here. I installed v14 on my E2-2000 (Zacate)-based notebook and IT WORKS, no error messages, nothing. I fired up a w2k VM and it ran immediately, no issues.

You can look at your processor release date

You wrong! There is no ANY solution after few years! The full working version 12 was dumped without ANY fix and probably will stay in this stupid condition forever because high version exist behind.

For VMware Workstation Player 12 there is a solution other than crack/patch, (without modifying any file) ..... :D

I don't think that's relevant. The release notes CLEARLY state that "zacate" processors ARE NOT SUPPORTED, but mine works fine. Either the programmers are absolutely incompetent assholes o whoever wrote the release notes is...(or both). I mean why they hell would they put that a certain processor is not supported when, in fact, IT IS?

And, according to wikipedia, Zacate processors were released in Jan/2011
