Thats totally wrong! If you ever activated WinRAR before and uninstall it, your keyfile will stay in the WinRAR folder. Bug 1 - when you attempt to make SFX, the additional settings of SFX archive is inactive. User must be select Recovery Record before, to make these settings active. Backup your WinRAR folder before replacing. Since alot of different languages (not all) require their own WinRAR executables with hardcoded translations, the patched files can convert these translations back into english. I also could create a patcher which contains every single hardcoded language but that would be too time consuming for a lazy person like me. With my patch you can delete and add files from/to locked archives - of course these archives will stay locked when you open them in other/unpatched versions of WinRAR afterwards but as long as you use my version, that doesn't apply to you. I still have version 4.01 portable i use too edit locked rar archives It's best too never use patched Winrar too archive rars though patch winrar caused many integrity errors and sometimes if you download a rar before it was keygen you will find rars like these were the crc will fail even though the contents extract fine .
