Hackers gained access to credit cards and other information from guests at 14 Trump organization properties in 2016 and had unfettered access to the information for months, the organization reported Tuesday.

A statement released on the organization's website reported that hackers gained access to "cardholder name, payment card number, card expiration date, and potentially card security code" information for guests who stayed at Trump hotels between August 2016 and March 2017.

In some cases, hackers also gained access to guest names, email, phone numbers, addresses, and other information, although the company reported that Social Security numbers and passports were not accessed.

“The privacy and protection of our guests’ information is a matter we take very seriously,” the Trump organization said in the statement.

"We recommend that affected guests review the information in this letter for some steps they can take to protect themselves against potential misuse of their information."

According to the Trump organization, hackers breached Sabre's SynXis Central Reservations system (CRS), which Trump hotels use for centralized guest bookings.

The attack "did not affect Trump Hotels’ systems," the statement reads.

The latest breach comes months after the Trump organization was forced to pay $50,000 to New York state after it failed to notify customers immediately after data breaches in 2015 led to the theft of at least 70,000 credit card numbers and 300 Social Security numbers.

Your sources say it all.  Two of the three largest sources of fake and bias news.  Correctly reported the title would be "Sabre's SynXis Central Reservations System Hacked" and would go on to explain how ALL the hotels or other institutions that use this system have had their data hacked, not just Trump facilities.  The fact that the writers (I won't call them journalists because journalists report they don't makeup and write news.) chose to just concentrate on the Trump hotels should be a red flag for anyone reading it, though at the bottom of the article they state the attack "did not affect Trump Hotels' systems" so it wasn't Trump that got hacked.  Just another bunch of bigoted bastards with a keyboard.

The Hill don't always post fake news it's Factual Reporting: Mixed, there just like NBC , ABC  .CBS  they have a left-center reporting bias. Most the Time Hill just repost what other sites too the left said.

Fox NEWS has Right Winged reporting bias so people on the Left always discredit it but it dont always post fake news ether.

Factual Reporting: Mixed

But i find some truth in all of it but i  research several sources and if i see like a 100 spam post trying too attack someone or trying promote something  i see it as media bias.

But i dont even think you checked Washington Post because there Factual Reporting: HIGH

NOTICE REGARDING GUEST PAYMENT CARD INFORMATION

To Our Valued Guests:

We recently learned of an incident involving unauthorized access to guest information associatedwith certain hotel reservations. This incident occurred on the systems of Sabre Hospitality

Solutions (Sabre), a service provider used by Trump Hotels. It did not affect Trump Hotels’systems. The privacy and protection of our guests’ information is a matter we take very seriously, and we recommend that affected guests review the information in this letter for some steps theycan take to protect themselves against potential misuse of their information.

What Happened?
The Sabre SynXis Central Reservations system (CRS) facilitates the booking of hotel reservationsmade by consumers through hotels, online travel agencies, and similar booking services. Followingan investigation, Sabre notified us on June 5, 2017 that an unauthorized party gained access toaccount credentials that permitted access to payment card data and certain reservation information for some of our hotel reservations processed through Sabre’s CRS.

The investigation found that the unauthorized party first obtained access to Trump Hotels-relatedpayment card and other reservation information on August 10, 2016. The last access to this information was on March 9, 2017.

What Information Was Involved?
The unauthorized party was able to access payment card information for some hotel reservations at certain properties listed here, including cardholder name, payment card number, card expiration date, and potentially card security code. In some cases, the unauthorized party also was able to access guest name, email, phone number, address, and other information. Information such as Social Security, passport, and driver’s license number was not accessed.

What We Are Doing
We are working with Sabre to address this issue. We understand that Sabre engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to support its investigation. Sabre indicated that they also notified law enforcement and the payment card brands about this incident.

What You Can Do
We recommend that affected individuals remain vigilant for incidents of fraud and identity theft by regularly reviewing account statements and monitoring free credit reports for any unauthorized activity. If there is any suspicious or unusual activity, affected individuals should report it immediately to their financial institutions, as the major credit card companies have rules that restrict them from requiring payment for fraudulent charges that are reported timely.

In addition, affected individuals may contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or law enforcement authorities, such as their state attorney general, to report incidents of identity theft or to learn about steps to take to protect against identity theft. The FTC can be contacted at:
