Rok Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Hi my HP ENVY 3D 17-1201tx Notebook PC currently have 2x2 GB RAM = 4 GB in total. I am looking for an upgrade and have tried 4-5 RAM chips, but right after installing those in the slots, laptop keep rebooting until the inserted RAM chips are taken away. I have also talked to HP support for guiding me towards the exect RAM chip, but being interested in selling their higher priced chips they don't say anything.
