Not only light theme here, but actually I've even replaced the Photos app of W10, because it was using a black background.

Original theme should be by default and then everybody can select what they want, if there is added also some other correctly edits/made skin. Currently is so, that all these handcraft skins are so full of bugs and very often works only one one place or page, but all others are horrible.
Yes, it's simple to change color, width, height etc, if it is used only in one place, but usually isn't so. Often is changed so, that one page is good, but some others are even not readable.
So, my recommendation is - let by default stay original theme and then install others as much You want.
And one more thing, if somebody really want only dark background and dark-grey text, use for example original theme and Chrome/Firefox/etc extension "Dark Reader" and You can get what You want. You can yourself change colors, contrast etc, even time, when and what color scheme is in use.

For Chrome it is here

For Firefox is here

Dark themes will always be my go-to, I have sensitive vision and white backgrounds always hurt my eyes. Even though this forum's light theme is very comfortable (unlike Reddit and Youtube light themes), I always stick to the dark side.

Light is too bright, if any site offers dark mode. Dark mode get applied immediately.
