BTJB Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Process Monitor is too much poor program @xanax ( ! ) I've lost hours until find myself that it need computer reboot to continue catch changes in registry. No matter that user is deleting, user even can not refresh the app by deleting its keys in Sysinternals. It even have no log files! But stopped all work! And it would be because: 1. I am using 20 days IDM Trial. Today I made experiment and first running of Process Monitor show me that IDMan only open read one universal key of known two keys. Nothing more. Then on second run it exclude permanently this monitored key. I deleted all CLSID all IDM keys an Sysinternal parent key and even this Process Monitor no more allows me to monitor, after filter loading the log window is empty. On second running it only warning some blah-blah for included and excluded two (known keys) which I guess you added them during filter export. 2. IDM make only two keys for me. Before that I was deleted and cleaned all left, then register with fake serial from fixed reg file. I repeat, these keys are not unique keys. There is no more keys related to IDM. And I hope you will help. if Filter window pop-up just press ok on picture red cross is over magnified icon which mean that in moment of screenshot monitoring is not run. don't know if this picture is till you wait to reg keys appear in process monitor or after you stop it with press on that button (same as CTRL+E). i want to say maybe process monitor didn't start monitoring at start, from this info i can not know that. just to mention again, that keys is triggered only when we try download something did you try download something when process monitoring is running? more precise, monitoring should running when IDM is started and then keys are triggered only during the first download, not second not third...in that IDM running session Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
