Google Chrome also uses a brand new javascript engine (V8), which is much faster than existing javascript interpreters. This means you can create more complex and more intensive AJAX applications with fewer speed and processing constraints. Finally, Google Chrome is built on top of Blink (WebKit fork), so Google Chrome users will benefit from the CSS3 features being added to Blink (WebKit fork) as those features are released. EM7 Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 1.13.2 works fine. It's a good idea to never update anything right away, except Windows, but even it had some update issues that needed a rollback. Chrome´s still fully operational otherwise but will never update. To reverse this just allow 'googleupdate.exe' again in your FW and open Settings- Help - About Google Chrome to initialize update. Activate FW rule again to block all updates again and so on... You can additionally deactivate 2 update tasks created by chrome: GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUA and GoogleUpdateTaskMachineCore. Don´t delete them as Chrome just reinstalls them automatically. Stopping internet access for 'googleupdate.exe' should be enough but these tasks generate errors when not deactivated.
