Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool 5.04

Recommended Posts

This new tool allows an easy and comfortable way to download genuine Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, as well as Office 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2016 disk images (ISO) directly from Microsoft's servers. Ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows disk images from Digital River, hunting for untouched ISO files has been a pain. Our new tool will make your life easier, and provides and interface to Microsoft TechBench to download original Windows and Office images directly from Microsoft's server.

Thanks to ARMOUR for the update.

Just a quick check. Do you get anything on the list if you select any windows version? I get a blank screen.

Because of your host file is modified,

please reset your host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS) to default

FAQ

Q: After selecting a software version, everything grays out and freezes.
A: This issue can have a number of root causes:

  • You have modified your HOSTS file. Please remove the following two lines.
    0.0.0.0 aa.online-metrix.net
    0.0.0.0 c.bing.com
  • You have installed software that prevents scripts from modifying secure websites, such as certain adblockers, firewalls or similar security related software.
  • You have disabled TLS 1.2 in you internet settings. You can enable it again in the control panel in the Internet Options category.
  • In rare cases, starting the tool as administrator can resolve the issue.
  • In rare cases, updating Internet Explorer to the latest version can resolve the issue.

Q: I receive the message "GetHostEntry failed!"
A: The routine for detecting HOSTS file modifications could not be executed. The application might or might not be affected.

FAQ

Thank you for the reply. I found the issue finally. I had to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 2.1 on internet explorer. I did not know it is using internet explorer. Still strange though because I could see office ISO for download (but not windows ISO) even before I do the changes in settings.
