If you disable print spooler, will you be able to print anything?

I do not think so. You will need to enable it again.

I know. But I wanted to mention. Everyone's needs are different. Sometimes things like Even Viewer are really useful to find and fix problems I think.

There is a lot of useful info about that @ http://www.blackviper.com/

Cheers,

To add onto this, you could use Easy Service Optimizer to configure all of the services at once. This program and Black Viper are only for Windows Services though. You would need to see how disabling third party services would affect the functionality of that program. I had to do the same with Acronis True Image because it has multiple services that run in the background but I was only using one of them. Luckily, Easy Service Optimizer allows you to add services to customize along with the default Windows Services.

It helps to know what windows operating system your running then go to blackviper's website choose the operating system your running and it can tell you whats safe to stop and whats safe to disable and no print spooler is needed if you print from the machine in question disable print spooler you cant print.  What operating system are you running? Go here:

http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations

When your on that page choose your operating system and then you can find out what services you can disable or not.

This gives you information about any service you could have a question about:

http://www.blackviper.com/windows-services/

It would really help to know what operating system your running.
