Tool that blocks Windows 10 processes from accessing internet

Hello, I need a tool that blocks Windows 10 processes from accessing internet.

Some processes are constantly downloading something eg. netsvcs, backgroundtaskhost.exe etc etc, slowing down my internet

I have disabled everything I can think of, but still the downloading persists

 

I would never use Windows 10 if not for NVIDIA driver

If you want the BEST, then download :  WFC (Windows Firewall Control).  It's unquestionably the best by a large margin.

It's a good simple firewall for those without a lot of Windows and network knowledge, but NOT the best.  The best is sphinx-soft.net that knowledge mentions above but it requires some understanding of firewalls and how they work and the implementation of rules and not simple block this allow this.

What do you want it to do more?  It's not just simple, it's incredibly. The interface is literally perfect and this is coming from a professional software & industrial designer. The guy really knows his stuff.

I will re-try Sphinx and get back to you. I know I tried it before. 

 

EDIT 1: holy shit Sphinx has portable (albeit 32bit only) option. I am seriously going to take a look at this app closely.  Going to trial now.

I am using it right now as we speak. Will test for a day or two.

 

Initial impressions.

1) ITS FUCKING PORTABLE.... YES!

2) Interface is pretty decent and well thought out

3) Incredibly powerful and complex

For the regular user this is ridiculous overkill and WFC is overall better. Author refuses to make it portable though

 

I am thankful for both solutions so far.

Knowledge, can you please provide v  8.1.0.23   (last known working prerelease before 8.2)?  I have the crack, but nsanedown linked to the author's site which is 8.2 prerelease now and cannot be used for that version

 

EDIT: I know there's 8.1..0.14   but I wanted the absolute latest version that was medicined

I'm liking Binisoft WFC so far better, but it's not fair yet because I have to really dig deep into this app to see its features.

I have a feeling I will love this program more when I figure out what to do lol

haha that video is so short.

I am very experienced at computers; I think it's just the terminology of the app that is confusing and it's good to read the manual for these kinds of apps to learn all of their features. I so, so appreciate it's portable. 

 I'm going to read the "Windows10FirewallControl.chm" you included and the web site manual. that should help a lot more.

OK I have read the manual for Windows 10 Firewall Control and watched the video and looked at the web site.

 

The portable version is EXTREMELY castrated it seems to me. Half of the features aren't present as the installer version. There's no 64bit version for portable version either.

I love that it stores its settings portable for portable version, but quite honestly I don't see any compelling reason to switch from windows firewall control > portable version of win10 firewall control as of yet.  They do basically the same thing but WFC does it better it seems to me?
 

Another problem is that there's no proper crack for even older versions of Win10 Firewall Control. The current cracks only disable nagware, but don't enable some of the more advanced features. In addition, the crack does not work on new pre-release, while WFC is a SN# that works even with latest.

if i understand right u is wrong on much things but maybe best ill not comment as  its just what i think   about the crack u is wrong  and much more things  but best not comment in open topic as works been done on newer versions and much more chnages in newer versions  for me i just use   this program   y  its the best

OK I have concluded extensive testing.

It's as knowledge says ...

if you are a beginner or need extremely simple network control - use windows firewall control. 

 

if you want portable settings or want powerful AND are willing to explore the user manual and the program. Windows 10 Firewall Control is the best so far.
