Yes, I tried the portable version @ FC Portables and it crashed on me as well. The portable version @ PortableAppz dated March 5, 2017 (my bad, should be 6 Dec 2016) is confirmed working. ( version 17.0.8.0) Latest is ,indeed, from Dec.2016. (version 18.0.16.0) As far as I know a newer portable version is not available (yet).........
