Samsung will unveil its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, on March 29. Until then, information about the device continues to pour in. After we've had the chance to see the Samsung Galaxy S8 on the outside, the next leak concerns the insides of the phone.

We are offered the chance to take a look at the software running on the Galaxy S8. The folks over at SamMobile obtained a couple of screenshots showing the Galaxy S8's launcher and most of its app icons.

The person who leaked these screenshots said they were found inside the APK of the newest version of Samsung's Smart Switch application. It's one of the reasons the screenshots showing the home screen are very small. On the bright side, the icon images are of high resolution.

Still, it's quite enough to make an idea of what's to come. Two out of the four pictures leaked are the same, but the other two are slightly different in the fact that, in one of them, the Search bar is visible in the upper part.

Overall, it looks like Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a much clear UI than any previous model. Samsung's new UX doesn't feature completely circular icons, but they come in line with Nougat's design line.

We're hoping to get more chances to look at the software running on the Samsung Galaxy S8 before the smartphone goes official. To recap, both Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus come with curved edge display, but the former will feature a 5.8-inch panel, whereas the latter will boast a 6.2-inch screen.

Although both smartphones will be announced at the end of March, they will not be available until one month later. Samsung is expected to make the Galaxy S8 and S8+ available for purchase on April 21, but only in South Korea. It will take another week for the flagships to go on sale worldwide.
