Dont even waste your time with that bloated snake oil, i think ive mentioned this before on here

There have been many tests comparing defrag software, guess which i still use because its the best?

MyDefrag 4.31...yep, even though its own website has been dead for like a year

Heres a portable version including the last Jaspion optimising scripts i have included: http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/PP7L1969/MyDefrag_v4.3.1_Portable.rar_links

For anyone who wants an installed version:

1) Download the installer here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/mydefrag.html

2) Copy the Jaspion scripts from this archive: http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/0QDT9H4S/Scripts.rar_links

to <programs files>\MyDefrag 4.3.1\Scripts...and answer Yes to Overwrite

I could not disagree more! I use UltimateDefrag for years and it is very good. A little complicated to configure, that is why it has its negative fame.

But it does a very good job: Auto and some more fine tweaking for system disk and consolidate and some more fine tweaking for data disks: Works like a charm!

Besides, I have seen the tests that you a mentioning, and MyDefrag, O&O, Puran and Auslogics got good results. Dude, I vote for MyDefrag, but these other are a huge pile of sh#*%. O&O and Auslogics destryoed my system, I do not know how they could get good results...

I repeat: UltimateDefrag well configured beats all others...

We all have opinions about defrag software  I use to use this software for years on xp and windows 7 , but i dont find it very good for Windows 10  like i dont find most very good and this day and age many people have SSD and Hybrid drives and using actual defrag can shorten the life span there only good for trim function. Another thing that will mess up defrag is if you made a lot of restore points  then there is much data that cant be defraged so you need to delete them defrag and make a new one.  I use perfect disk and i always get good results in windows 10 with it while some say they dont  so it best  too let each person test for themselves .

One thing I don`t see is why people still want to use an external defragmenter program in Windows 10. Windows 10 has Diskeeper included so... (?)

Thanks for posting one of the defrag tests, i dont now why you did, because it only backs up everything ive said: i dont make this shit up folks....i have used them all, after 30+ years

The results turn out pretty disappointing. Only MyDefrag 4 improved the performance by 13%, which is in the range of where an improvement is even noticeable.

DiskTrix UltimateDefrag 4 stood out rather negative: The manufacturer advertises a performance improvement of 400-600% (even for Windows 7), but the defragmenter managed to improve the performance by only just 1%.

Mate. That was fast. I had never had a faster defrag before, even with UltimateDefrag.

Thank you.

Really? Where is it, I have Win10 Pro. Thank you!

I thought Win10 had a "normal" defragmenter under Drive Properties + Tools + Optimize, which takes hours to defragmet a 1TB HDD.
