Registry Workshop 5.0.1

Registry Workshop is an advanced registry editor. It is a perfect replacement for RegEdit and RegEdt32 which shipped with Windows.

In addition to all the standard features, Registry Workshop adds a variety of powerful features that allow you to work faster and more efficiently with registry related tasks.

With Registry Workshop, registry editing becomes more safe than ever before. All changes except changing key permissions can be safely reversed (even registry replacing and importing), using multiple levels of Undo. You don't need to worry about making mistakes when editing registry.

Whether you are an advanced user who needs to edit and modify your registry to remove trojan, virus, and spyware entries, a system administrator who needs a safer, more efficient tool to maintain your company's PCs, or a software developer who needs to quickly manipulate registry keys and values during system development, Registry Workshop has the tools that you need.

You can read a review of Registry Workshop on PC Magazine's website at http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2360098,00.asp

The strangest thing happened.. I use 3 registry editors - MS Regedit,, O&O RegEditor and of course Reg Workshop,, the latter two are portables... So I download RW 5.0.1 portable from above and run as per normal but for some reason both O&O and RegWorkshop are displaying registry keys that are NOT in the registry. Both of them display identically but MS Regedit doesn't... I know MS Regedit is correct because some of these keys were deleted from the registry many months ago, especially from the AutoRun sections in HKCU and HKLM and I have placed some of my own personal keys in there myself and they do not show up in either of the two portables... I have refreshed several times with each, but no difference. If I am not mistaken, the two portables are still reading the same registry as I had Oct last year when the great Win10 Anniversary update took the show over and I had so much trouble and had to edit the crap out of the registry with them as MS Regedit would not co-operate (permissions were changed in the Win10 update). I eventually restored a C:Drive image that took me back to Win10 before the update, then switched off all updates...

What the heck...???

At the moment I trust MS Regedit as know it 'IS' working.. It would be a pity if I could not use either of the other portables...

Version 1.0.0 (April 7, 2004)

  • First public release.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decade :

Quote

A decade is a period of 10 years. The word is derived (via French and Latin) from the Ancient Greek: δεκάς (/ðɛkˈɑːs/, transliteration=dekas), which means a group of ten. Other words for spans of years also come from Latin: biennium (2 years), triennium (3 years), quadrennium (4 years), lustrum (5 years), century (100 years), millennium (1000 years).

Yes , smart @ss I've used it since it came out as a beta so that's more than 14 years ... so 16 years  > 1 decade..

Plural forms imply more than 1  And that includes fractional parts greater than  1

They say  1 1/1/ 2 cups not 1 and 1/2 cup

Its 1.6 decades not 1.6 decade.

Also I'v'e been computing since 1980 so figure it out :)
