Tried with Chrome and Firefox That is probably because the opening it from frontpage leads to the HTTPS version of the forums, something which I had mentioned before, HTTPS on forums is broken and should not be used. I know, this problem about HTTPS version of forums opening when clicking on links on FP should not happen, but if we change that then all the external links will behave the same way, which is not right either.
