I've been using TrashReg for at least 4 years now.
I've been using CCleaner since it was first released.

Whenever I run a registry scan with either program, I always delete everything it finds.

I don't take the time to look at each result and I don't create any sort of backup either.

That being said, I can confirm that I have never experienced any issues with either program.

That is because the registry cleaner is Glary Utilities is more robust, scans for more than just "dead entries"

RTKF was designed to find and remove registry entries that are no longer needed, such as those left my previously installed software.

I have been using TrashReg for 7 years.

I have been using ccleaner since it was released.

I delete everything they find without using the backup that is built into the programs and without any issues or problems.  As a caveat though, I do a full backup daily of every one of my 35 systems I have at home and just added another 30TB NAS unit (my sixth one) to my system because I am going to increase my backups to a full backup every 8 hours with incremental backups hourly as a test before I implement this more frequent system at work.

A lot of registry cleaners, Glary included, boost the number of items found because they include those items in the registry that are created every time windows or a program is run and which are a waste of time cleaning.  These are the MRU keys, Most Recently Used.  The Hardware keys are also recreated every time windows runs.

Because it is packaged in PortableApps.com Format, you should refer to PortableApps.com - Language variable values

I contacted Dave Green and he is looking into the issue.

Edit:

The developer's homepage is available in English, Dutch, German, Spanish and Russian.

So I don't think that his program has proper native support for Polish, at least not yet.

Hi

Starting with version 3.9.4 is the Polish language. ;)

What's new in version 3.9.4:

  • Added Polish user interface (thanks to Marek Bogacz)
  • Added new Tools menu command "Full Registry Backup..."
  • Tested with Windows 10
  • The last version that supports Win9x, Me (almost not tested)
  • Many bugfixes, some small adds

Have you installed the official application? if is not possible to set the polish language is not a problem of the PAF. Make this test and send a feedback.

The official install says it's Polish after changing Language, its still English though.

So the issue is the program itself.

Portable version functions the same as installed version

so if installed version doesn't work correctly, neither will the portable. We can't fix that.

Installation version works properly  and there is a Polish language.

BTW

Other version Portable inserted by @Geez working properly and there is also a Polish language.

Yep, didn't back up first delete but did the one today. Didn't have the second tick mark the first time around but did have the always backup checked.

I don't think there is a need to backup anything that this tool removes 'coz it's a harmless tool deleting just the redundant reg entries.
