Microsoft's Surface family has officially expanded to include the desktop. The company just announced the Surface Studio at today's event in New York City. It will be available "in limited quantities" this holiday for $2,999, $3,499, or $4,199, depending on hardware options. Preorders begin today, and the Studio will also be showcased in Microsoft retail stores ahead of its release.

Apple leads the way when it comes to the High-End PC segment.

Microsoft has a long way to cover...

and that's why all latest Intel CPUs works with Windows and Apple is still sticking to last gen CPUs and even older?

It not only Tech Specs. It is also Marketing. ;)

When it comes to High-End PCs, Apple has been there before Microsoft.

The Rich ones have traditionally purchased Apple High-End PCs.

Maybe, Microsoft will manage to change that in the future.

We'll see...
