It was the best Indian music site, where you could freely download all the Indian songs (Bollywood, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, etc.) in great quality & proper tags (i.e. album name, artist name etc.). It was my favourite music downloading website in 2011, but since 2012, that website just vanished from the internet with no notice, nothing!?!?!!! I guess the Indian government took it down, but although it was a famous website, it didn't create any big news like the shutdown of KAT. The reason could also have been that 123musiq didn't get enough funding for running the website, which was getting Lakhs of visits daily (as of 2011), & their team shut it down. Or it could be that 123musiq team were getting immense pressure from the officials (f**k off!) & decided to shut it down instead of taking risk. Similar is the case with www.sensongs.com. It was too a popular music downloading website, mostly Tamil & Malayalam songs, but that too got vanished together with 123musiq, again no news/notice. Just silent disappearance ?!?!?!?!! Back in 2011, movies & audio piracy in India was at its peak. Since 2012, the government started blocking websites, taking down many torrents. Also, the message which we get when we try to view a torrent website without the https in front of it, "Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India." wasn't there before 2012. Even Songs.PK, which was a very famous high quality Bollywood songs download site, vanished in 2012, but came back in 2014 (or maybe 2013) under the domain name "SongsPK.name", & since then underwent many domain name changes like KAT, & now is still functional (wow!) under the name http://songspk.guru. Even this website may shutdown anytime (but the chances are likely). Does anyone know any website similar to 123musiq where you can get Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam & Telugu mp3 songs with proper tags & quality? EDIT: I just found some whois information for 123musiq.com, sensongs.com & Songs.PK: http://whois.easycounter.com/123musiq.com http://whois.easycounter.com/sensongs.com http://whois.domaintools.com/songs.pk According to this information, both 123musiq.com & sensongs.com are operated by Tamilians (Chennai & Nagercoil respectively). There is a method of extracting songs downloaded from saavn to computer. Only issue is it needs to be renamed as they are scrambled in a folder. Which becomes a task.
