Batu69
Microsoft is working with Liebherr’s appliance division to rebuild the refrigerator and make it smarter, faster, strong; well, maybe just smarter. The new collaboration between the two will see Microsoft provide computer vision technology, via its Microsoft Cognitive Services Computer Vision API, to let the fridge identify objects contained within. Why would you want a fridge that knows what it’s holding? It’ll save you those extra return trips to the grocery store for things you forgot, for one. The deep learning algorithms in use will be able to learn new food types based on its experience from processing millions of generic food packaging images, and it should be able to get smarter very quickly while in use when and if it eventually comes to market, using data gathered from a wide pool of real-world users. Other fridges have the ability to let you peer inside remotely, but Microsoft’s data science team worked directly with Liebherr on this prototype to make a learning fridge that won’t force you to rely on your pathetic human eyes looking at a grainy image over a poor cellular connection to roll the dice while shopping. The fridge is just a prototype for now, though, so you’ll have to do with your uneducated, idiotic produce cooling box for now. But in the meantime, if you want some Microsoft in your refrigerator, you can always get this. Article source
SnakeMasteR
Imagine Cortana in the pot, a learning pot. You know exactly what you have eaten 3 days before and you will know exactly what you are not going to eat ever again. ? In combination with the fridge, you can better plan out your cooking strategies including what you've bought and cooked earlier. Ultimately it helps you to find out when you've cleaned the pot last time. The possibilities... ?
steven36
There's a long list of things I do when i install windows 10 anyone who uses Cortana needs to know this software is not really free it helps you out for exchange for you're personal info and if you are OK with this ts OK with me . But for me i disable it and block it ..But reality is most people already sold out to some other company long ago if it is not Microsoft selling you're data now , Facebook ,Apple,Twitter ,Yahoo and Google has been selling you're info for years . Cortana is not a new idea really. Quote BonziBuddy is a spyware program distributed by Bonzi Software between 1999 and 2004. The software provides an on-screen software agent designed to help users surf the Internet by using Microsoft Agent technology. In 1999, the software used a green parrot called "Peedy" licensed from Microsoft, and in later versions, a purple gorilla named Bonzi. Upon a user's choice the on-screen agent would share jokes and facts, manage downloading using its download manager, sing songs and other functions. The software uses Microsoft Agent technology similar to Office Assistant, and originally sports Peedy, a green parrot and one of the characters available with Microsoft Agent. Later versions of BonziBuddy feature its own character: Bonzi, the purple gorilla. The program also used a text to speech voice to interact with the user. The voice was called Sydney and taken from an old Lernout & Hauspie Microsoft Speech API 4.0 package. It is often referred to in some software as Adult Male #2. Some versions of the software were described as spyware. Bonzi's homepage remained open after the discontinuation of BonziBuddy and the website disappeared at the end of 2008. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BonziBuddy So you need to look in the mirror . I see most people who rant about Microsoft as a bunch of sold out hypocrites Ether it is or it isn't , Its everything or it's nothing. You cant say hey Microsoft sells you're data and turn around and use services that do the same thing . And most all the haters are guilty of this .
