Cacheman 10.0.1.5

Cacheman is a Windows software designed to speed up your computer by optimizing several caches, managing RAM and fine tuning a number of system settings. Auto-Optimization makes it suitable for novice and intermediate users yet it is also powerful and versatile enough for computer experts. Backups of settings ensure that all user modifications can be reversed with a single click. Unlike other tuneup utilities, Cacheman runs as a system service, minimizing resource usage and tweaking Windows at system-level. Cacheman runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 x86|x64.

Thanks to jordan4x for the update.

For some reason, I could not get this patch to work and I tried several times. I followed the instructions as written.

So I went to another trusted website, found this patch by RadiXX11 and it worked the first time, like a charm. If you're having issues with the patch offered here, try this one:

Many thanks for your contribution DeLino, it's a pity, but the portable won't start-up, maybe it's my configuration i don't know. Does this portable runs on other machines than mine???

It finally works, but, my system seems to be the same after usage, except undoing some changes it made, example hiding hidden files.

All that probably depends on the OS and Hardware you use it on.

While there is some tweaking possible here and there, the default resource management is getting better and better in newer OS' running on decent hardware.

As with most of such tools, using a older OS and having not so good hardware may have some sort of effect on some combinations but these days, it's rather marginal.

Seeing what it aims to do, saving a bit for more RAM (hardware) is the way to go, it's not even expensive.
