VileTouch Posted May 23, 2016 Share Posted May 23, 2016 Ok so i have a client requiring me to lock down the aformentioned phone (privacy/security wise). the device comes with Kitkat, so i figured it would be better served with a more recent version of android. marshmallow, hopefully, but really, even lollypop comes with better power management (or should i say, power management AT ALL) so i started researching and all i find is a lot of background noise and the manufacturer's site not even listing the device (sheesh) some claim to have succeeded in installing marshmallow on it but, of course, no sources, broken downloads and most of all, zero answers. i still haven't proceeded with the temporary rooting (required by adaway) in case there's a possibility to flash and upgrade. so... question: is it upgradeable?
