The VideoLAN project targets multimedia streaming of MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX files, DVDs, digital satellite channels, digital terrestial television channels and live videos on a high-bandwidth IPv4 or IPv6 network in unicast or multicast under many OSes. VideoLAN also features a cross-platform multimedia player, VLC, which can be used to read the stream from the network or display video read locally on the computer under all GNU/Linux flavours, all BSD flavours, Windows, Mac OS X, BeOS, Solaris, QNX, Familiar Linux. VideoLAN is free software, and is released under the GNU General Public License. It started as a student project at the French École Centrale Paris but is now a worldwide project with developers from 20 countries.

Portable VLC media player 2.2.2 32 & 64 bit Multilingual Online

Select architecture and enter: 2.2.2
Extract and run VLCPortable.
If you drag'n drop a file on (or open with) VLCPortable: it will be opened in VLC.
Settings of installed VLC should be preserved.

For those who downloaded the beta/RC from the other thread two or three weeks ago, you already have this, as this one is unchanged (digital certificate is the same date as then).

Why the x64Bit isn't DIGITALLY SIGNED?

while 32 bit is signed!!

I haven't seen that happen with BitGravity or YouTube streams, at least. Maybe your latency is poor? Try looking through the switches here (dash-buffersize jumps out):

The acceleration seems all over the rate. I have to check my settings properly, seems heavier on the CPU than prior versions.

Is anyone else seeing this bug?

 

I have posted this at VLC Forum/Help, but no response yet. The new version has the open recent media grayed-out. It doesn't remember any media and I can't continue media anymore. I often watch movies in pieces, and I loved the continue feature that pops up (top of video) for a few seconds when you start the video again.

Fallon I'm using Win 7 x64. I should of said above that I'm using the VLC 2.2.2 x64 not x32. I un-installed 2.2.2 and re-installed 2.2.1 x64 and everything is working fine now. So are you using x32 or x64?
