BREAKING NEWS: List of Withheld JFK Assassination Documents

Here It Is — a Map to What We Can Still Learn

Exciting news: WhoWhatWhy has obtained the complete list of 3,603 secret documents on the Kennedy assassination still being held by the US government. (Or, to be precise, what it admits to still holding.)

Now we can at least get a peek at what they have been hiding.

The list was obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by FOIA specialist Michael Ravnitzky, who alerted us.

The complete list is below. You’ll note that some documents are briefly characterized by subject, while others are less clearly identified.

The government has promised to release as many documents as possible in October, 2017, the 25th anniversary of the JFK Records Act, in which Congress mandated that all efforts be made to release everything in Washington’s possession unless an overriding case can be made for withholding in the national interest.

Some — perhaps most — of these documents could be released at that time. Then again, they may be further withheld. The CIA in particular is likely to argue that some are just too sensitive to be made public.

Still, knowing their subject matter makes it easier to press for disclosure, and to hold the government accountable by insisting it justify any continued withholdings.

Those who wish to look at the list should be forewarned that it’s a bit like looking at hieroglyphics. Most of the names and brief references will mean something only to a very few.

Among the documents that caught our eye:

•  Lee Harvey Oswald’s CIA “201 File.” 201 files contain personality assessments

•  Records on David Morales, David Atlee Phillips, E. Howard Hunt, William King Harvey and others considered by top researchers prime suspects for participation in the planning and implementation of Kennedy’s murder.

•  Documents on New Orleans oddball David Ferrie, District Attorney Jim Garrison, Jackie Kennedy, members of the Warren Commission staff, Jack Ruby, various anti-Castro Cubans and much much more.

•  Tax returns of Michael Paine, who with his wife Ruth provided housing and more for the Oswalds — Ruth also got Lee a job in the Texas School Book Depository — from which he purportedly shot Kennedy; Michael worked for the defense contractor Bell Helicopter.

For those wary of news from unfamiliar sources, Russ Baker, the founder of whowhatwhy is an author and investigative journalist.  He has been published in the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, the New York Times, The Nation, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the Village Voice, Esquire, Slate and Salon.  On first glance, I'd say he's a little biased against conservatives, but definitely not a nutjob.  This isn't Infowars or Natural News.

I watched the Film JFK 1991 and not knowing how to true to the actual events the film portrayed life, it did raise some questions in my mind of how the whole reality being raised in the film could of been real life events. I mean both John and Robert dying by assassination while holding public offices less than 5 years apart really is questionable to some hidden agenda being carried out.

establishment to depose the established regime and replace it with a new ruling body.
A coup d'état is considered successful when the usurpers establish their dominance.

 

A coup d'état typically uses the extant government's power to assume political control of a country.
In Coup d'État: A Practical Handbook, military historian Edward Luttwak states that a coup "consists of the infiltration of
a small, but critical, segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the
remainder". The armed forces, whether military or paramilitary, can be a defining factor of a coup d'état

 

Although the coup d'état has featured in politics since antiquity, the phrase is of relatively recent coinage; the Oxford
English Dictionary identifies it as a French expression meaning a "stroke of State".
The phrase did not appear within an English text before the nineteenth century except when used in translation of a French
source, there being no simple phrase in English to convey the contextualized idea of a "knockout blow to the existing
administration within a state".

 

Politically, a coup d'état is a usually violent method of political engineering, which affects who rules in
the government, without radical changes in the form of the government, the political system.
Tactically, a coup d'état involves control by an active minority of usurpers who block the remaining (non-participant)
defenders of the state's possible defense of the attacked government, by capturing or expelling the politico-military leaders
and seizing physical control of the country's key government offices, communications media, and infrastructure.

 

Is our government being run in secret by a special interests group(s) ?

Was it a cover-up that happened by killing Lee Harvey Oswald, was arrested that afternoon as a person of interest in the crime. Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby mortally wounded Oswald two days later in a jail corridor. The FBI and the Warren Commission officially concluded that Oswald was the lone assassin.
