Batu69
A new version of the app was released this morningStart10 on Windows 10 There are plenty of apps out there that can bring back the familiar Windows 7 Start menu on new Windows versions such as 8 and 10, and Start10 is certainly one of them. And what’s best is that the developing team in charge of the app keeps updating it regularly, so Start10 not only looks really good on Windows 10 and makes the Start menu feel almost like the one in Windows 7, but it also offers full support for the new OS. And version 1.06, which has been released earlier today, comes with support for Threshold 2, the first major update for Windows 10 that Microsoft rolled out on November 15. There are no detailed release notes, but the app seems to be running just fine on Windows 10 Threshold 2, with no bugs and issues spotted at first glance. Obviously, it takes over the default Start menu and offers a much more familiar look without live tiles, which for many is really helpful, given the fact that Microsoft changes the desktop here and there with new elements and features. Overall, this is clearly one of the best ways to bring back the Start menu in Windows 10, so go download Start10 right now to get rid of the live tile-based design from your desktop too. The app isn’t free, though, but the free version still lets you try it out to see what it can do on your PC.News source

heyyahblah
It's a trial to see if it runs good on the computer, I mean its only $5. Considering all the other APPS we get from here for $0.00 it's not that bad of a deal to buy it if you really, really use it 24/7.But if you want pure 'freeware' then try out CLASSIC SHELL, it does the same thing but with more features. But CLASSIC SHELL is all freeware so at least be kind and donate at least a lousy $1 dollar to support all that work on the project if you don't want to pay $5 for Start10. Personally Start8/10 is my favorite out of the 3 to choose from, but CLASSIC SHELL is not that bad.http://www.classicshell.net/
