Nov. 2015 Security Release ISO Image now available

Patching Windows is a thing we all have to do every month, and although Microsoft recommends everyone to install the released updates when they become available, IT admins and even some users prefer to wait a little bit longer to see if there’s anything wrong with certain patches.

What’s more, in the case of organizations with a bigger number of PCs, patching them without an Internet connection is really difficult, and that’s why Microsoft’s providing us with the so-called Security Release ISO image.

The November 2015 version of this ISO image is now up for grabs, which means that system administrators can now start patching their computers to avoid any possible exploit that might be found.

In case you’re wondering how this pack works, it’s actually really simple. Microsoft’s offering the archive as an ISO image, so you can easily burn it on a blank CD or create a USB stick that holds all the available patches.

What’s important to remember is that it only includes security patches, so performance updates and other optimizations are not available here. It’s only supposed to help fix security vulnerabilities and nothing more. As far as the supported versions of Windows are concerned, all of them are on the list, starting with Windows Vista and ending with Windows 10.

In the end, this clearly comes in handy to all Windows users, so go download the Security Release ISO image for November 2015 to stay on the safe side as soon as possible.
