Unbeatable: the Superiority Burger Instagram: @nycbynyc

GQ magazine's search for the perfect patty led them to vegetarian restaurant Superiority Burger, located in New York’s East Village.

A vegetarian burger restaurant in New York has been named the creator of the best burger in the world.

According to staff at men's lifestyle magazine GQ, the famous $6 (£4) Superiority Burger, which has a fully vegan patty, “shatters the notion that meatless burgers are nothing more than frozen cardboard vessels for fungus or tofu.”

Located in New York City's East Village, Superiority Burger restaurant is the brainchild of Brooks Headley — a former punk-rock-drummer-turned-head-chef who set up the burger joint after launching a successful pop-up.

Much like the award-winning burger, nothing at Superiority Burger contains meat, and most dishes can be made without animal products on request.

Headley will not give away the patty's secret ingredients that make his burgers so special, which have been popular over social media with New York Diners.

Meat or no meat, we reckon a bite of this vegan masterpiece would satiate even the most carnivorous of beings.

Give. Me. A. Break.

If it has no MEAT, it's NOT a burger, regardless of what some stupid magazine says.

You want a REAL burger? Come to Texas and get it!

No cows were harmed!!! So what? Plants also have lives & feel the pain when cut. The so called vegetarians (who converted into vegetarian concerning Animal Rights) should educate themselves, admit the truth and detach from any kind of food chain.
