You just might give someone a free glimpse at your stash.That’s what one Reddit user found out the hard way, though maybe it’s more fitting to say his wife found out the hard way. She happened to come across her husband’s freshly-updated system, and its screensaver was cycling through his entire collection or hardcore pics. As the hapless upgrader put it, “free WIN10 and a free trip to the doghouse.”He wasn’t able to disable the feature and swore to leave the system shut off until he figured out how to do it. It sounds as though what he was looking for was the “Photos” screensaver settings, which, by default, will flip through every image in your Windows photos library. Just click the Windows button and type “screen” and by the time you get that far you’ll see the control panel shortcut appear.Click it, change the folder it’s set to look in, and your porn is now off limits. Provided, at least, you haven’t made the rookie mistake of trying to hide something on a computer by burying it in seven or eight subfolders. That’s never been a great way to hide things on a PC… not even if you cleverly label the final folder “Not Porn.”Save that stuff on an external hard drive an don’t leave it plugged in or grab a free folder hiding utility for Windows so it’s actually hidden.
