Thanks for the info! But will not this Maintenance Release 2 (15.0.2.361.0.607.0) be automatically updated to (via internal update) if you have the program installed already? Download and changelog links already present in the listing gives this updated version already, so new users will get it anyway. Would it not be kind of confusing to have the listing updated?

I maybe wrong here, maybe it is necessary for users to install this manually over a prior 15.0.2.361 install to get it updated. In that case it for sure should be frontpaged.

If you have a prior installation of 15.0.0.463 (MR0) or 15.0.1.415 (MR1), then 15.0.2.361.0.607.0 (MR2) [Patch a] is actually the latest install file of the Maintenance Release 2 (Upgrade to MR2 with [Pach a]). :)

BUT, if you have a prior installation of 15.0.2.361 (MR2), then you don't have to install 15.0.2.361.0.607.0 (MR2) [Patch a], because the [Patch a] will be automatically installed (Update) with the regularly Run update of the signatures (a restart is required)!

Same will be for the future [Patch b] for MR2 (last expected date: +/- 15 June 2015). :o

Stick with your mind than we know what you are standing for. Changing your mind and the way posting on frontpage on individual software's time to time cause confusing & wondering!

Here was the example of Kaspersky 15.0.1.415.0.598 ---- Patch b . Has been front-paged by you, that is why i bother to post it here. However we all know the patch will be updated by internally via Kaspersky on internet, still better to post every new patch edition cause most people here in the forum does not have enough internet bandwidth to order to update 200-250 mb to get patch version from the last version from front-page.

Beside every each patch edition has important update by Kaspersky otherwise they don't just call patch edition.

Same apply to some other anti-virus engine such as ESET Or Bitdefender if you update any coming version for those A-V software's on frontpage same should apply to Kaspersky too.

We need a new setup / download to be unique for it to be frontpaged that is all I ask of really. Actually I think we have been rather good at it.

No need to modify the frontpaged link because this link already downloads the latest version : 15.0.2.361.0.607.0 (MR2) [Patch a]

You are one of loyal Kaspersky user, remember there are some new user comes and using the frontpage download link. Do you want them download 15.0.2.361 after that do last 4 mounts update to get through patch a it will take between 150-250 mb al you like to give them 15.0.2.361 a to download. When you need to reinstall your Windows do you download older edition or you prefer latest edition with all the update integrated till patch a?

Hello Mister november_ra1n,

I've said "No need to modify the LINK in Frontpage" because actually this LINK is already pointing to "15.0.2.361.0.607.0 (MR2)" (the version you have just posted). :o

I didn't say anything more....

Yes, the next update will be a full version 15.0.2.361 with patch b included, available later with the release of Windows 10, but what I’ve said is that the patch only [Patch b] for 15.0.2.361 MR2 will be released about 15 June 2015 (previous date was 19 may).

Anyway many thanks for your commitment.
