Earlier today, Microsoft's Gabe Aul asked Windows Insiders to help decide whether or not the company should release a new build of Windows 10 with a known issue that could prove particularly frustrating for some users.

Specifically, build 10122 - which Aul described as a "GREAT build" - has been plagued by "frequent crashes" when using the Edge browser (referred to by its development codename, Spartan) on PCs with AMD GPUs. He asked those testing Windows 10: should Microsoft release it, or not?

The response from the Insider community was overwhelmingly in favor of an immediate release of the new build to the Fast Ring. And as a result of that input from Windows 10 preview users, Gabe has now confirmed that Microsoft will roll out build 10122.

His final tweet on the subject hints that the rollout of Windows 10 build 10122 should be coming pretty soon.

The issue with Edge crashing on systems with AMD graphics cards will be documented in the release notes accompanying its rollout. Gabe also advised that anyone currently on the Fast Ring who would prefer not to have to deal with this should "go switch to Slow temporarily", adding that it won't roll out to the Slow ring until the problem is fixed.

lol, agreed. Even if we add up all the Windows 10 mobile/desktop users three years from now, I predict its market share will be very low. Especially considering Windows 7 appears to be the new XP.

maybe you should check the numbers of preview build downloads of win 10.....windows 10 will be much bigger than you think...pirates will use win7 until they can tweak win 10 to be unseen as a pirated...as they have done with every single other release of windows

3 years from now there will be many Win10 users. Not only from people updating to it via Windows updates but people doing upgrades from disc or clean installs.

Win10 looks amazing and is what Win8/8.1 should have been from beginning with it's evolved smart menu/screen and metro apps in Windows.

It's obviously going to take a while for devs etc to update their softwares and drivers etc so initial update may be slow if there are incompatibility issues but once these have been ironed out you will see a lot of conversions.
