At least so far - all seems to be OK (“You license is activated”).--Both files are to be copied to the installation folder (one is to overwrite). uffbros Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I used Total Uninstall to remove old version and it destroyed my machine..Had to use Macrium to get back to a month ago. Machine would boot to a black screen where I could move my mouse but wouldn't boot to windows. Any secret to uninstalling this correctly? I think I remember others somewhere having this problem???? I think I remember others somewhere having this problem????I am not sure, could be a system-specific problem (I haven’t encountered it myself).I uninstalled the older version of StartIsBackPlus yesterday exactly with Total Uninstall (v6.12.0)……so, perhaps - a simple add/remove of the program would be enough?..-..all I could think of right now (which is not much :)). uffbros Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 After I restored with Macrium I did it again this time in safe mode and the regular windows uninstaller,which uses the programs uninstaller,and then installed the new version from regular windows and all is well including it still had my previous settings saved.
