The file you are trying to access does not exist. This might be because the URL you accessed was changed accidentally. For example, a correctly formatted download link should look like:

http://www.datafilehost.com/d/a1b2b3c4

Any odd characters in your URL might be causing the error you are experiencing.

This is annoying...

The download links have no problem.

Datafilehost eventually goes offline for about 5 minutes, at varying times, probably for maintenance.

It does download. I initially had the same problem as you with Firefox, just had to disable my ad block extension.

Try using chrome or firefox

I am using AdBlock and I never had to "Pause" it when downloading from Data File Host before. But... Yes... It seems as if it is necessary to "Pause" it now in order to complete this download.

Fine here using UBlock and userscript anti adware (dont even have untick the box) Only thing I had to do is allow cookies for that site. Tested on Cyberfox 36.0.1

If you got this error means you didn't paste the link right . :P

I can download with Firefox or Chrome with Adblock, Ghostery and uBlock activated. In IE, no problem too.
