D0GG Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 NEC Electronics, Japan, today announced that Microsoft Corporation willincorporate embedded DRAM (eDRAM) technology from NEC Electronicsin the next-generation Xbox(Xbox 360, Xbox next, Xbox 2) platform.The embedded DRAM is expected to be used to enable the use of anti-aliasing and high definition graphics with almost no cost to system performance."The next-generation Xbox platform will provide gamers with a highly advanced graphics experience," said Todd Holmdahl, Corporate Vice President, Xbox Product Group.
