How to secure my internet activities

Hello nSaners,

I want to secure all my internet activities, i.e. I don't want any one (not even my ISP) to have track/log of what ever I do on the Internet .

Also I want to protect my PC from hackers, and similar types of threats.

I am currently using ESET SS 7 on my PC, But I am starting to think that's not enough as it constantly keeps showing notifications like >>

"A duplicate IP address has been detected in the network"

I tried to fix the same by creating new rules in the "Rules and zones" of ESET SS 7 , but the notifications wont stop !!

Dear Security experts from nSane forums, I desperately need your help as I am a big noob in this case.

Thank You.

Sorry, but are you really so "blue-eyed" and think so like You write?

I have a feeling that you must have mixed up the two things - that, which is possible and that, which name is commerce.

The Ostrich also puts head in the sand and thinks that no one could see him.

(Sorry if anyone doesn't like my bluntness.)

these will help also

Blocking Unwanted Connections with a Hosts File http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Malwarebytes //www.nsanedown.com/?request=16106013

I have ESET SS 7 installed. Dosent it already have malware threat detection in it ?

yes but Malwarebytes finds stuff that most of the major antiviruses don't. It is also compatible with ESET . I use it with Kaspersky

Okay man, i will try Malwarebytes for sure.

Many of these attacks come from nation states...
