Hi all..

I'm a newbie...

Just wanted to ask you all about a small program that checks Update for every software installed ?

Already many programs are available freely Ex : Filehippo Update checker.. And so on..

But why Nsanian's cant create a program to check regular update of nsane updated apps with our pc ?

If its useless - Admins or Mods kindly leave a message and delete this thread...

Thank you - Everyone.. :)

 2  - (Heart 2 Heart)

Reena....

Bad idea. There is standard in nsane software list, some are Free, others Cracked or Portable. There is also no consistency in the way these software version.

Filehippo is also a solution but you are limit to Freeware, Shareware or (Adware/Malware). From what I can remember it does auto download update, not sure if it auto install.

Most suitable solution is use RSS, it mean you have to manually read through these "news feed", download and install it rather than a automated system.

Combining RSS with PortableApss.com is probably the most suitable solution, anything that is available in PortableApps you probably should use it, their Package Manager allow for "Auto-update" and Auto-installation. They also have RSS so you will know if there is any update/new software that been add to the catalog, but their update don't show changelogs so that might be less useful unlike Nsane there Changelogs tend to be include. However PortableApps only have free software, there is cracked PortableApps but you won't find them in their official page and their software don't support it.

But there is hope in the future, currently Windows' Store if you use them have a standard that work, it too bad it too mobile/touch marketed, and the mandatory requirement of online account making it annoying to use.

Rejoice however, Windows 10 seem to be adding a "package manager", see: Linux's package manager for more information.

You didn't guess, its close to 2015 and you still love the "manual" method, all IT systems on the world loves the automated stuff. :s
