geeteam
SamMobile reported earlier this week that the new Galaxy A series of smartphones would be Samsung’s latest attempt to widen its reach in the international market. The Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 (all tentative names) are expected to retail below the price of the S series, but the Galaxy A7, which has the most impressive specs of the three devices, will likely only be released in a few select markets. Samsung is worried that the A7 might ride the line between mid-range and high-end, limiting itsappeal. Now that the phones have started arriving in India to be tested, details have appeared online at import tracking site Zauba. One listing for a Samsung phone codenamed SM-A700 (Galaxy A7) reveals that the mid-range device will feature a 5.5-inch display and dual SIM slots. SamMobile had already confirmed it would feature an HD display. The Galaxy A7 is expected to cost somewhere between $450-500, but until Samsung is ready to officially unveil the device, we’ll have to continue putting the pieces together ourselves.Source
