geeteam
It has been all but officially confirmed that Apple will introduce its hotly anticipated wearable device at the press event on September 9th, but you probably won’t be able to get your hands on one until next year. According to Re/code, sources close to Apple say that the iWatch won’t hit the market for at least another few months.“It’s not shipping any time soon,” said one source. It’s not clear when exactly Apple plans to bring its wearable to the market, but it will almost certainly be after the holiday season, sometime in early 2015. As with any Apple rumor, none of this has been confirmed by the company itself, but several investors, analysts and journalists have reported that the iWatch wouldn’t be ready to release this year. This might not be a bad thing — earlier this week, one analyst suggested that Apple might be compromising the wearable device’s battery life in favor of image quality on an AMOLED display. If Apple delays the iWatch until 2015, it will give the company a little more time to decide what to prioritize. That said, this is more likely an issue of supply than Apple’s chance to finalize specifications.source

CODYQX4
Do you really want to buy this ? i believe it's overpriced At this point no, I wouldn't buy any Smartwatch (or Google Glass, I wouldn't want to be that dude everyone thinks is creepily recording them). But I'm getting that new phone for sure, selling my old one usually makes me cover all or most of it. calguyhunk
Do you really want to buy this ? i believe it's overpricedApple making overpriced devices? No way Jose! :PBut seriously speaking, I don't think ANY smartwatch is ready for primetime. Tablet - including iPad - sales have already tumbled massively this year and that's mostly because once the early adapters started buying the first and second gen versions, they - and their aunties - realized how little you can actually do with them. Those are nothing more than glorified, expensive, mostly useless toys and there's really no need to buy one every year if you're already rocking a laptop and a smartphone - which most people are. :yes:And now this frivolous "wearable" craze is also gonna prove to be nothing more than a seasonal fad and nothing more than a storm in a tea cup unless the pricing comes to more realistic levels. Anybody who expects regular folks to join the overpriced geek party is living in a fool's paradise. I'll buy one when they bring a decent one below $20. Till then, I'll rock my el cheapo Fastrack LOL!
