Islamic State message to America 'we will drown all of you in blood'

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Islamic State militant group that has seized large parts of Iraq and drawn the first American air strikes since the end of the occupation in 2011 has warned the United States it will attack Americans "in any place" if the raids hit its militants.

The video, which shows a photograph of an American who was beheaded during the U.S. occupation of Iraq and victims of snipers, featured a statement which said in English "we will drown all of you in blood".

U.S. airstrikes in northern Iraq have helped Kurdish fighters take back some territory captured by Islamic State militants, who have threatened to march on Baghdad.

The latest advance by the Islamic State, an al Qaeda offshoot, sent tens of thousands of members of the Yazidi ethnic minority and Christians fleeing for their lives and alarmed the Baghdad government and its Western allies.

Unlike al-Qaeda, Islamic State has so far focused on seizing land in Iraq and Syria for its self-proclaimed caliphate, not spectacular attacks on Western targets.

U.S. President Barack Obama said at a news conference on Monday that the Islamic State posed a threat to Iraq and the entire region.

when I heard they say Bahdaq, they have no real term of definition what is muslim mean in islam.., as far as I know, muslim devide by many categori.. the ugly and good.., just like christian, or jews (ortodox and zionist.. etc) .., muslim have sunni and syiah...they also believe in some different way, most shocking thing is, syiah kill sunni people, syiah were aggresive and missleading from islam, while sunni is most islam accross the world including in asian.., Bahdaq is mostly syiah .. thats why the message always come with blood...

btw, thats is not just a case, Ive just dont understand why they say defence for america.. while they come to middle east and attack them? and one by one the conquer in middle country like arganistan, iraq, syria, lebonan, and much more.. and more civilian were kill including young innocent kid , how this country in any mean will not defense for themself when their country has been interup by american? of course few people there will take a revenge back to american bcoz they killing their family.. look at the statistic of people die between what terrorist did and what american did to this country... everyone including you will defence ur land from been interupt..

Absolutely & so is your knowledge about ISIS & the current Iraq conflict ! Just an FYI it's mostly the Sunnis funding ISIS (like they did with Al Qaeda) & the latter have this demented agenda to bring the whole world under the rule of a single Caliphate kingdom & purge all non Muslims from the face of the earth. Granted the Shias are (partly) responsible for the mess in Iraq but most terrorist outfits around the world are constantly financed by the Sunnis, especially from the Gulf nations, also they're (the hardliners) probably the most horrific bunch of religious autocrats that you'll ever see :angry2:
