Moto 360 Smartwatch Price Revealed In Best Buy Leak

Motorola’s Moto 360 is undoubtedly the nicest smartwatch to look at, and coming a while after both LG and Samsung opened the Android Wear market with the G Watch and Gear Live, Motorola should have had enough time to learn from its competition’s mistakes.

With Motorola expected to formerly announce the Moto 360 at an event on September 4th, it seems that we may not need to wait that long before we know how many pennies we’ll need to save up in order to buy one after Best Buy’s mobile site accidentally managed to leak the information way ahead of time.

Having apparently gone life far too early, the mobile version of Best Buy’s online store had a Moto 360 page pop up that not only gave the price of $249.99 to those eager to place an order, but also offered some specifications as well. While the ability to actually place an order wasn’t forthcoming and no expected release date offered by Best Buy, it’s fairly safe to say that the page wasn’t intended to be made public quite yet.

Coming in at $20 more than the LG G Watch and $50 more than Samsung’s Gear Live, the Moto 360 clearly isn’t the cheapest Android Wear watch around, but it’s without a doubt the one that’s most likely to appeal to those that don’t want to wear a watch that’s too large. Assuming that price is right – and it jives nicely with previous leaks so we’re fairly confident that it is – then it’s probable that those who are fashion conscious would be happy to pay the extra cash in order to get the nicer looking device.

If they do plump for the Moto 360, Best Buy’s site says that they’ll get a screen that sports a 320 x 290 resolution and is made of Gorilla Glass 3, which means it should be nice and tough. Something you want from a watch face!

With Motorola’s expected September 4th announcement, Best Buy’s price will be either confirmed or disproven soon enough.
