geeteam
Microsoft may have put a stop to Nokia's Android project, but that didn't stop the US technology giant from releasing a major update to the first generation Nokia X smartphones. The update brings a new feature called App Switcher, improvements to the Nokia Store, and several other exciting additions. The Nokia X2 smartphone sports a feature called App Switcher, which makes it pretty convenient to switch across apps. With the new update, the same feature will arrive on the Nokia X, X+ and XL smartphones. Besides that, Microsoft is shipping several of its services pre-bundled with the smartphones. Outlook.com, OneDrive, and OneNote are now available on the said devices out of the box. The email service Outlook.com now allows you to add multiple email accounts, with support for push notifications, along with calendar and contact syncing. The Nokia Store app has also snagged some improvements, and added Spotlight widget to the Home screen which makes it easier for users to discover, find, and download apps and games. It now integrates with other third-party app stores, assorting all the apps to one place. Source
