Windows Media Player Shortcut.

Recommended Posts

I noticed a change in circumstances in my folders.

Imagine a folder with media files in it, mp3, wma, mpeg etcetera.

I used to be able to highlight the file and on the right of the folder media player would appear and I could

play the media file in the folder without opening media player.

It gone.

Any ideas on how to return back to what has gone missing?

Thanks in advance!

Lee

Go to your music folder and on the top right corner there is the "preview pane", click on it. Hover your mouse to one of the icons (Show the preview pane).

Hello and thanks for the reply.

Did all of this already, still not working.

I will give it a go later again myself.

Music folder - Properties - customize - change from documents to music, if this doesn't help, try re-associate file types- make WMP default player for those file types. (i don't use it(wmp), so i can't guarantee )
