In fact, I have that block of rule broken into 8 individual rules for the sake of granularity in troubleshooting.

Point taken, though — have just created the 9th one for third-party scripts. uu0vOfR.gif

Can you post those 9 rules here or PM me ? I have been asking for the adguard config from last year.

Just break the block of single rule into 9 multiple rules:—

://$font,app=firefox.exe

://$media,app=firefox.exe

://$object,app=firefox.exe

://$object-subrequest,app=firefox.exe

://$other,app=firefox.exe

://$script,app=firefox.exe

://$script,third-party,app=firefox.exe

://$websocket,app=firefox.exe

://$xmlhttprequest,app=firefox.exe

I can imagine this being a hectic and tedious process for you fitting in all the domains. I'm seeing a lot of exceptions being created. Did you try the ublock or umatrix approach on adguard again?

I do not have any news from him since few days ago.
He asked me to post a mod Ccleaner for Win and some people had some questions about it. I have sent him a mail, but I do not have any reaction until now.

Hope he is fine.
I am sure he will be glad to see you again ! :)

Perfectionism is, alas — a tedious obsession.

Not as much after discarding $stylesheet and $subdocument

Nah, that approach doesn't bring 100% replication since AdGuard blocks more elements — so the math doesn't add-up, for me.

Just noticed that the first of these rules make the second one redundant and obselete.

Plus, missing the subdocument parameter for atleast third-party.

Just saw your post, see my reply above.

Heads Up:-

On the 25th of January 2018, the popular 2baksa site (quietly) readjusted their URL from http://www.2baksa.net/ to http://2baksa.net/

Not sure whether other ad. blockers were affected — AdGuard sure was . . . . since by default, it created rules for ||www.2baksa.net/ instead of ||2baksa.net/ and domain=www.2baksa.net instead of domain=2baksa.net; if the rules were created from the AdGuard log.

^^It's not limited to Adguard I think as even other adblockers use the URL in the address bar(DOM) as their start point.

When I write the tutorial, shall make it universally complaint with all ad. blockers. ;)

I just checked at my end, turns out both the URLs (with & without www) are valid. But yeah, ofcourse, you would need to create the rules for 2baksa.net rather than www.2bksa.net as then it would be applied whatever the case.

Heads Up:-

||goo.gl^$third-party

For me just this (above) one single rule makes a hell of difference to the speeding-up of loading time on http://2baksa.net/

How about you guys — are you finding any difference?

This is the case with any site — the www. part of the URL tends to get readjusted on a correctly configured Firefox (and, maybe in other browsers, as well) during loading.

How's the web notifications working for you guys? This is the first time and site where I started using them.

For me when I clicked the bottom right notification nothing happened, should anything happen?

I switched to nSane tab and I couldn't bring the notification drop-down list until I reloaded the page, is this default behavior?
