Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened. Anyone know how to solve this problem. Bing has been useless; never had this before win 8.Cancel, found out by shorting name made file useable. clubhouse Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I've started using downthemall on FF now, IDM used to drive me mad with its constant pop ups on any page (forums with YT content etc) and offering to download it...I could never see how to turn it off aside from dropping flvs or blocking YT in its menu. Therru Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) I contacted IDM customer support:I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but when I followed this tutorial here: http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/register/new_faq/video4.html It hid "Download this video" item which appears top of the video window, i.e on YouTube, but then this weird thing happens: Time to time IDM adds some video related items automatically to download list, IDM opens like 50 seperate download windows at the same time, it even does not have to be a real video, i.e MP4 or AVI (or any other video format), I have no idea why IDM thinks that when there's all formats disabled via IDM settings it somewhat converts some video related elements to real video elements and starts to download those. I have "Automatically start downloading of URLs placed to clipboard" also disabled, so that could not cause this issue. I think that this is somewhat security related issue, when IDM starts to download video related stuff automtically.
