Disable Splash Screen in Nero How to disable Splash Screen in Nero 12

-: I hate it and I think you too, so here is the way how to disable it :-

1. First of all go to C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 12\Nero Burning ROM

2. Find a file named SplashScreen.dll

3. Rename it to SplashScreen.dll.BAK or Anything.

4. Now open Notepad and create a file named SplashScreen.dll (obviously a 0 KB file)

5. Copy this file to C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 12\Nero Burning ROM

6. Now open Nero Burning ROM, and yes :bruce: you have successfully disabled Splash Screen.

7. After all these processes press like button otherwise Splash Screen will appear next time. :P

PS: Tested it with Nero Burning ROM only so test it on other Nero 12 products and post your reply here.

For other products path should be C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 12\Installed Nero Products(s)

Strange I'm on Nero 12 suite and windows 7 X64 and all the splashscreen has dissapear with this "patch", included Nero Backitup

This worked for me, but I had to go into each folder and apply the fix, like Nero, Nero Express, Nero Cover Designer, etc, etc, etc. There is a SplashScreen.dll for each Nero Module. Hope this helps.
