Got 50.000 from 1&1 (Germanys ISP) this week. Just wow. Earlier only 6.000 for comparing. Image ISP with Deutsche Telekom is quite wrong however.

unbelievable the speed difference between countries

It is, the U.K. are supposed to be pioneers in everything.

B.T. and the government sit on their backsides with their hands stuck underneath doing nothing.

I have fibre optics and my speed is still slow.

My upload is half the advertised speed.

If I was in South Korea, I could have a minimum speed of 1,000 mbs-1.

I could have their interactive T.V. they got, which is excellent.

I still can't understand why I have to pay line rental.

I have been paying line rental for twenty five (25) years, I must have paid over and over and over for the cost of them being laid in the first place.

Wish we have the same speed here in the Philippines. :( 2.5 Mbps costs us 4,500 pesos ( almost 100 US dollar) a month with the locked Download speed of 250 Kbps

(tested and proven with testmy.net ) We dont use speedtest that much...some ISP in my country faked the speed)

i hope Pres.Rody fix this problem :D

yes it is a lot of difference in the speed I should be surprised at such speed they have in the various countries in which the country would not say that they can have such speed Internet

It is interesting that in countries where a repressive regime have slower internet than countries where the internet could be the beginning than the country where they had to wait for the fall of the repressive regime

perhaps

USA

UK

somewhere is slower than Ukraine or  Croatia etc.

I don not speak in South Korea what they have at Internet speed and at what price you can no imagine such a usage rate of the Internet is that caused that South Korea is full of toy professionally in computer games

I live in a small town very near the Polish border, I have two ISPs with optical connectivity I've got 1 ISP 50/50 for free  2 ISP 100/100 for 24.02 € 27.16USD internet only 33.27€  37.62USD internet with IPTV

Wow, this is the 21st century, I think that everywhere in the world, the minimum download should be 10 mbs-1 and upload, 2.5 mbs-1.

2002, I went from sharing a d.a.c.s. line, with a speed of 14 kbs-1, to 256 kbs-1, then 1mbs-1 in 2004, then in 2005, 2mbs-1, then in 2006, 18mbs-1, then in 2008 64kbs-1, then 2010 2mbs-1, then 2013 fibre optics finally

36-40mbs-1.

Most of us in the U.K. have either cable t.v. or satellite t.v. Why will they not give us a satellite connection I know some cable companies provide 100mbs-1.

I was told that bskyb will be trialling 1000mbs-1 in Lincoln. That's, what I was told be them.

I could have 100.000, but can't pay for it. So only 50.000 from 1&1.
