Awesome, thanks! :D

Edit: Are the AHCI and RAID drivers the same? The links are the same, just wondering. ^_^

That depends on your motherboard manufacturer.

You can scan your PC with Intel® Driver Update Utility

Intel will tell you what you need after scanning your system. As you can see screenshot above mine is RAID.

Added: You are right i just correct the RAID link thank you informing me.

Glad I could help, madeinheaven. :angelnot: After installing the new drivers, my drive now appears as SCSI. I only have one drive partitioned in 2 and no RAID. I just have a normal SATA II drive. I wonder if this is normal!

No problems so far, so I guess everything is good. ^_^

It's "normal" that you can't see the content of post #1, MIH deleted all his posts.

Use Intel® Driver Update Utility: http://www.intel.com.../support/detect

;)

Product Detected Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family Current Driver Installed 8.15.10.1930

An Intel device was detected but your operating system is not supported by this utility. Please visit Download Center to look for available software.

No luck for windows 8 yet.
