[OLD] ESET Fixes

Recommended Posts

Been a while since I last used ESET, and apparently I've forgotten how to activate it with TNOD since it keeps getting moved to quarantine. I disabled Self-Defense (and rebooted) and all protection modules, put the TNOD folder and TNOD.exe in exclusions and still, EAV7 keeps stopping the process and moving it to quarantine.

Anyone got any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

@ShEsHy :- Just follow these instructions :-

=Guide how to get ESET working with TNOD USER & PASSWORD FINDER 1.4.2.1 without Problems =

Eset is causing problems to prevent Tnod to work with success. Tnod servers links are considered virus and even Tukero blog is blocked.

So, what we have to do in order avoid these situations ?

First of all, if you already have Eset installed, download Tnod from the Frontpage and install it.

2)- Now open Eset, click on «Setup» and then on «Enter advanced setup»

3)- Go to Computer / antivirus and antispyware / Exclusions and add... --» C:\Program Files\Eset\Tnod User & Password Finder\*.*

4)- Click on signal (+) of «Web and Email», then on signal (+) of «Protocol filtering» and press «Excluded applications» and mark (V) on --» « C:\Program Files\Eset\TNod User & Password Finder\TNODUP.exe ».

Click O.K. and close AV.

.........................................................................................................................

Now press Tnod shortcut that is on Desktop, go to the taskbar and use right mouse button over tnod icon.

Choose --» Configure / License and uncheck «Avoid licenses which expire near».

If a license wasn`t inserted yet, press desktop shortcut, wait till a new license is inserted, then open Eset and press «Update».

From now on, you get updates, automatically, sometimes 2X / Day

END.

Have Fun!

What is the best and most reliable crack for ESS? Purefix or something else?

No best, just use what you prefer

Well do purefix activations expire or does it activate permanently?

Can we do ESET prgram updates and does it support Smart Security v7?

Does mara fix require you to disable HIPS and/or Self Defense? I remember I disabled them, and then those two other options were gone, but after I enabled them again (and I'm not sure, but I think I restarted my computer), those two options were available again.

  • 2 weeks later...

tnod takes longer to find license after the major update

I used today TNod v1.4.2.3 (Portable version) and it took 3 seconds in finding a new valid license. What's the latest version of TNod nowadays?.

I just installed a new copy of NOD32 because I don't really need the firewall or antispam that came with ESS. So I excluded TNOD in the settings but it is still being deleted. Is anyone else having this issue?
