In Settings go to community and uncheck all options. 2... In firewall click application rules---------------> Avast ------> Avast antivirus and block all connections Remember: Block :::::: Avast Antivirus: ::::::::::::::::: only no other option like avast firewall or other, Sometime Avast Antivirus subfolder appears after 10-15 minutes after you install avast so no problem an wait till it appears and if somehow illegal license warning pop ups in between dont worry and choose option :::I have license:::::: and then block avast antivirus from firewall. For those who encounter expiration or nag screen, please check and be sure you are using the correct patch. My patch dated 2012-04-18 should be working for both Avast 6 and 7. Maybe it is working for 5 also, but it is not important, I think. 2012-04-18 Added searching and bypass of Avast NagScreen. Well, this is not a good solution I think. 2012-03-14 Tested OK with following versions. Avast 6.0.1367 Avast 7.0.1399 Avast 7.0.1403 Avast 7.0.1403 Avast 7.0.1407 Avast 7.0.1412 Avast 7.0.1414 Avast 7.0.1426 Test OK on following systems.
